The LAWSAN Constitution says the ExCo should be dissolved not later than one month after the resumption of the 2nd Semester. Tomorrow makes it exactly one month, but of course, if there is no dissolution, Im hundred percent sure the Senate President wont assume office as leader of LAWSAN for the purpose of dissolution. Do we even know that there was a provision like that? Do we also know that if the Senate President assumes office and does not dissolve within one week, it creates more problems. Our LAWSAN Constitution has become like fliers that Preachers distribute, we know something is written there, but we dont read it and after sometime, we throw it away. Its not suprising, not at all, its the same reason our leaders overrule a Constitutional Information. Who shows such blatant disrespect for a Constitution? Its the same reason freshers sit and Senior Colleagues stand at our gatherings, take Law Dinner for example. I once loved the activism, its dead now and as much as I try to help us bring it back, I cant help but cry... What happened to Asawana Ufuos and Ewa Okpos Lawsan, the Lawsan I met. In Dr. Alobos words This Legal profession has been in existence for ages, why does this generation want to bastardize it? Let it not be heard.
