The Lebanese Uf Chou Laziz team won the international Land Rover Galactic Discovery Competition for Middle East North Africa region! Our entry was chosen by the global jury among hundreds of videos! We were asked to answer the following question: What does the spirit of adventure mean to you? Uf Chou Laziz team composed of Wajid El Hitti, Samah El Hakim, Nicola El Hakim, sam nassif won a 6-day travel adventure to Botswana in Africa in mid-2015. Yet again, Lebanon remains a beacon of hope and a creative innovation trendsetter to the whole MENA region . The thoughts of all of us at Uf Chou Laziz are with Virgin Galactic following the tragic incident of October 31, 2014 that involved the crash of Enterprise SpaceShipTwo, the loss of the brave test pilot, Mike Alsbury and the injury of his teammate Pete Siebold. The initial global prize of the competition was a trip to space and the regional prize was a trip to Virgin Galactic Gateway to Space facility in New Mexico, USA. Keep Uffing Lebanon! Space Rocks!
