The Mark of the Beast will not come forth until the seven year Tribulation period is well on its way, which is the Day of the Lord night segment before it dawns into the 1000 years. The Apostle Paul tells us of the times and seasons, which is not a pre-trib or pre-night all at once Rapture, but a return of the Lord within the Tribulation or Day of the Lord (Note: both the seven year Tribulation and the Day of the Lord begin with birth pangs; they are one in the same. Paul noted the Day of Christ as coming before the Thessalonians could be literally redeemed: Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our GATHERING TOGETHER unto him, That you be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the DAY OF CHRIST is at hand. Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day SHALL NOT COME, except there comes a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition (2 Thess. 2:1-3). Paul also affirmed the Day as the Day of Redemption (Eph. 4:30)—which is the Day of Jesus Christ (Philip. 1:6, 10)—which is the Day of Christ (2 Cor. 2:16; 2 Thess. 2:2-3)—which is the Day of the Lord Jesus (1 Cor. 5:5; 2 Cor. 1:14)— which is the Day of the Lord Jesus Christ (1 Cor. 1:7-8)—which is the Lord’s Day (Rev. 1:10)—which is the Day of the Lord which comes as a thief in the night (1 Thess. 5:2; 2 Pet. 3:10)—which again is the Day that Christians are to see approaching (Heb. 10:25), lest the Day come upon Christians unawares (Luke 21:34). In context, Paul wrote: BUT OF THE TIMES AND THE SEASONS, BRETHREN, YOU HAVE NO NEED THAT I WRITE UNTO YOU. FOR YOURSELVES KNOW PERFECTLY THAT THE DAY OF THE LORD SO COMETH AS A THIEF IN THE NIGHT. FOR WHEN THEY SHALL SAY, PEACE AND SAFETY; THEN SUDDEN (GREEK: UNEXPECTED) DESTRUCTION COMETH UPON THEM, AS TRAVAIL UPON A WOMAN WITH CHILD; AND THEY SHALL NOT ESCAPE. BUT YOU, BRETHREN, ARE NOT IN DARKNESS, THAT THAT DAY SHOULD OVERTAKE YOU AS A THIEF (1 THESS. 5:1-4).
