The Mead High School Shelter was deactivated today in order for the School District to prepare for resumption of classes for students. Rocky Mountain Christian Church in Frederick was designated as the new shelter location for the area and that contract was completed between them and the Red Cross this afternoon. There were 86 people at the Mead shelter and most of them, mainly from the River Valley Ranch neighborhood on the west side of I-25 and south of 119, were transported and should be arriving now.
