The Mustard Seed Christmas hampers got a serious injection of fresh perishables today thanks to The Independant Order of Odd Fellows Odd Fellows - Columbia #2 Victoria BC who raised over $20 000 for purchase of fresh food with their Tonne Of Love Campaign. Collaboration with Country Grocer meant around $10 000lbs of fresh produce could be purchased - at cost - giving a huge boost to Christmas hampers! Remaining funds will be kept on account at Country Grocer to be used as needed by The Mustard Seed in the new year. Christmas hampers continue to be filled by our fantastic volunteers this week and next right up till Christmas! Thank you to everyone helping us share the love and blessing this Christmas with those in difficulty circumstances!
