The National Aeronautics & Space Administration (NASA) has released the 100 millionth image of the Sun captured by its Solar Dynamics Observatory (SDO), which was launched around four years ago. Since its launch on February 11, 2011, the Solar Dynamics Observatory has captured many really impeccable images of the star playing a crucial role in helping scientists determining the effectiveness of studies related to solar system. The SDO has been providing as many as 57,600 images per day, sometime showing how solar storms erupt and sway in the atmosphere.
