The Oppositions response to President Kenyattas #STN speech is as disjointed as it can be. In one of the dailies, one of its senators is quoted as praising it. #STNs, like #SOTUs, are not classified. Good editors and journos will generally have advance, but embargoed versions. And in serious democracies, like the US, the Opposition will prep a short response, and designate a legislator - often a rising star on a given issue - for an address that will make prime time television. If the grapevine is to be believed, we are too busy making money and love across the aisle to care.
