The Person of the Holyspirit - The third person of God head has been misunderstood at different times. People of various generation has called and related with him wrongly or below standard. Some believes he is a thing, feeling or just some spirit. Many do not even believe in his existence. Today we will look slightly into his person. The holyspirit is not a thing or feeling. Rather a personality on his own. The scriptures referred to him as HE But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all the truth. He will not speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come. John 16:13 Now, if he is a person that Jesus himself referred to as a HE and IT. Then we should begin to reason that he must have somethings in common as like humans. Yes! he does, the scriptures made us understand that he has emotions. And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption. Ephesians 4:30 If you can grieve him then it tells us that he has emotions. perhaps you have forgotten that he also speaks and he can be silenced. As they ministered to the Lord, and fasted, the Holy Ghost said, Separate me Barnabas and Saul for the work whereunto I have called them. Acts 13:2 He has been in operation since the old testament. Although, he was given in full at that time. Expect for specific assignment. He came on Othniel And the Spirit of the Lord came upon him, and he judged Israel, and went out to war: and the Lord delivered Chushanrishathaim king of Mesopotamia into his hand; and his hand prevailed against Chushanrishathaim. Judges 3:10 He was on David, Samuel, Saul, Jeremiah etc.. His operation has been that far. Through the Holypspirit the men of old did great wonders. This series will continue tomorrow....
