The Pioneer track team has officially begun their Championship season. The JV athletes will be competing at JV Championship meet at St. Johns this Wednesday. The JV athletes have been making huge strides this season and we look forward to some great competition and better performances. The Varsity athletes have one more week before competing at the District Championships. This past week we competed at the Houston Christian Relay Meet and set 4 new school records and tied one. Freshman Marleen Guerrero started off the day clearing 54 in the high jump and tying the LSA record. The girls also set a new record in the Sprint Medley Relay (100-100-200-400). On the boys side they set new records in the 4x1600, the Sprint Medley Relay, and the Shuttle Hurdle Relay.
