The Precious Language Of The Soul: There is this film where this girl informs this dude that she, at this juncture, is convinced that he has something (affection) for her. He responds to this with, I never said. In return, she says, Not in words. The gem in this exchange is that the soul speaks. The soul is a bearing slate. Some people can read it. The people who dig deep into mysticism, such as Buddhists, and numerous other factions espouse a profound thought. It is encapsulated in this; Words Fail. This is so meaningful ladies, and gents. I say to you that there is some paradoxical meaning in the fact that we throw words out. They go out before us. They are a dress, a facade, a deployment. They go out before us, like a cover. They go out before us like a etch a sketch. Like colors we wish to be presumed of us. And this is why they fail. Words are the camouflage of the soul. But God is something else. And this is why he loves us beyond any worldly love we are able to convey. Because it is not words which reach him on our behalf. It is instead the soul which speaks to him. Our soul. Our hurt, our sorrow, our inability to defend ourselves, our incompleteness, our true needs; these are the things which our lovely God hears. If we could pick up on these things, in the way our beautiful God can, we would be in sackcloth and ashes, on our faces groveling in the mud. It would be unbearable to hear what His ears can pick up on. This is why as the Great I Am He transcends time and space. Oh, thou art Worthy oh God. Thou art better than I. Thank you for hearing the cries of my insufficient soul.
