The Prophet (saw) said that he is not leaving behind any greater fitna than women. What he did not say, is treat women badly because youre insecure or unable to deal with your nafs. They are fitna does not excuse a negative attitude towards women. It is this attitude that encourages perverts to try their luck, its the rhetoric rapists use to explain their animalistic tendencies. Its what leads the Boko Harams to deprive girls of an education and feel they are doing something righteous by selling them on. May Allah protect them.
