The RWJ University Hospital Foundation recently teamed up with volunteers from Rutgers University Alumni Association for the annual Rutgers Alumni Day of Service. Approximately 30 RU alumni and friends prepared hand-made cards for our pediatric patients at The Bristol-Myers Squibb Children’s Hospital #BMSCH! The cards were filled with heartfelt messages of hope, beautiful drawings, and silly jokes! In addition, the group prepared 300 goodie bags to give to the parents filled with Rutgers post-its, pens, magnets, lotion, water, and other useful items to let our families know how much we care about them. The collaboration was a huge success, and our families have enjoyed receiving the gifts. We look forward to working with the RU Alumni Association again!
