The Raspberries were considered lightweight and silly/teeny bopper by the rock critics/serious music fans at the time they were around. But as time as gone on the general attitude has changed and Raspberries are now given the credit they deserve for being one of the first bands to hone in on what is called Power Pop today (along with bands like Big Star and Badfinger).
