The Road We all have a road to travel on One God prepared as our very own Everyone else has a road to travel too But your bumps and potholes are just for you. God prepared a road for each of us to take All we encounter is for His names sake The road may leave us tired and worn But God never intended you to walk it alone. Hold on to the one who planned the trip Grab hold to His hand, keep a tight grip Even when friends and family are gone Walk the road with Jesus you won’t be alone. The road may sometimes get dark and cold But to the Road Master continue to hold You may have to stop, slow down and just stand Pray for God’s guidance, its part of the plan. He prepared this road before you were born Knowing there would be times you wouldn’t want to go on But even with that, it’s your trip to make For its God’s plan and He makes no mistakes.
