The Set Up of upsets. Psalms 105:16-20. God called for a famine. He sent Joseph who was sold as a slave, they hurt his feet and chained him, until the time his word came to pass, When Gods Word proved him true, the king released him, made him ruler of the people, Lord of his house, and ruler of all his possessions. A blacksmith who was working on a piece of metal kept putting it in fire and removing it. He did this for quite a long time until his protege asked him : Sir, how will you know the piece of metal is pure and ready for use? The blacksmith replied: When i look in it and i see nothing but my image on the metal. Thats exactly how God is with us. When God gives us a Promise, its attached to a Process to refine us by ridding us of impure motives and conforms us to the image of Christ. Only then He can Promote us with His Possession. Its a well known truth that a mans talent will take him to the top, but its only his character that will keep him there. This is why God is more concerned over our character than our achievements. A verse that is widely misquoted is this verse all things work together for the good of those who love God If you were to read the context of that verse in Romans 8:28-29, you will notice that all things work together to conform those who love God to the image of Jesus. This means that God is working things out to bring us closer to Himself. It is Gods desire that when people look at us and even without reading our Bibles, they see Jesus. When you understand this, you will live knowing that nothing happens To us. Everything happens For us. This mentality will take you to the place where things stop happening to you. You now happen to things whereby you take every stone thrown at you, and turn them into building blocks rather than stumbling blocks. Losers shrink away from challenges, followers struggle with challenges, leaders stretch with every challenge. Because God knows that ownership breeds affection, whenever you pray for anything, God answers your prayer by taking you through a process that will train and equip you for what your ready to get into. When you pray for a car, God will answer your prayer with driving school experiences; so that the day you will own a car, you will not only know how to drive it, but you will also be able to teach and mentor others on the process of owning a car. This applies in every situation from, dreams, marriage, health, finances etc. The experiences will be different but the result will be the same-a better you. So dont run away from the driving school experiences God takes you through. Once your out of the fire ,God The Father will look at you and see nothing but the image of His Son Jesus Christ. James 1:2-4 Count it pure joy whenever you go through all types trials for you know the testing of your faith will neccesitate that you put your patience muscle to work. Allow patience to do its perfect work of carrying you to your desired Destiny. If you will go through your trials patiently, in the end you will be a mature Christian, lacking nothing, equipped to handle any good thing. 1st Peter 1:6-9 The trials you go through are there so that your faith which is of greater worth than gold, may be proved genuine and may result in praise, glory and honor when Jesus Christ is revealed. Promise>Process> Promotion> Possession. When God wants to use you, He wont ask for Ability, but Availability, when you prove your Dependability,He increases your Capability.
