The Somwa Foundation (Survivors Of Mother with AIDS) proudly presents The Patricia Story The Patricia Story is a powerful documentary that celebrates the life of an HIV positive woman and her children. Patricia Semiens and her three daughters Dyamond (19), Keyonna (17) and India (9) left their hometown of Houston, Texas in hopes of finding a better life. The Patricia Story is a real account of the daily struggles and hardships faced by those living with HIV/AIDS. Throughout this film, we witness the perseverance of a family as they confront the shame, stigma and rejection associated with this disease. This compelling story teaches us the importance of survival, love and devotion. The Patricia Story is a reflection of inspiration and strength that we hope will empower, uplift and challenge others to join in the fight against HIV/AIDS.
