The U.S. Department of Commerce is working with the private sector to support the International Buyer Program (IBP) In 2014. This program brings thousands of international buyers to the United States to trade shows and exhibitions. Exhibitors and attendees come from all over the world giving participants an opportunity to meet and network with new contacts and to develop new business. The Commercial Section at the U.S. Embassy in Kampala can assist companies and individuals interested in attending any of these trade shows, and can work with them to obtain registration and accommodation discounts, complimentary access to technical sessions, and matchmaking meetings with U.S. firms.
