The Ultimate Lost Keys Story! Talk about a bad time to lose your keys. In Nottinghamshire, England, a police officer accidentally locked his keys in the trunk of his car after arresting a suspect and had no choice but to sheepishly walk back to the suspects house and ask his mother for a ride to the police station. She actually agreed and ushered her son and the officer - still handcuffed together - into the back of her car as neighbors jeered and laughed. A police spokesperson later said, The officer, having seized evidence from the suspects bedroom, carefully placed it in the trunk of the police car and then promptly locked the car keys inside as he closed the trunk lid. Being in the middle of nowhere, the officer knocked on the suspects door, asking kindly whether his mum could transport them to the local station. (Ananova)
