The United States of America is a Constitutional Republic, NOT a Democracy. There is a big difference. In the simplest of terms, the difference between them is the difference between Rule of Law and Mob Rule. No elected official should be in office who calls the US a "democracy", because such ignorance of so simple and crucial a point in regards to our system of laws is inexcusable in those who make or administer them. ~American Infidel Woman
