The University of Alabama and the UA Student Government - TopicsExpress

The University of Alabama and the UA Student Government Association have teamed up with the Rotary Club of Tuscaloosa to help fund honor flights. During an honor flight, local World War II and Korean War veterans are sent free of cost to see their memorials in Washington, D.C. Flight participants are greeted by national and state legislators and return in the evening to a welcome-home rally at the local airport. Donations are being accepted through Nov. 11.
