The War on Coal is American Electric Power, and all Large users who dont want coal at $40. Per ton and have to cleanup the particulate it makes. We are already paying Premium Rates in WV, as much as California, who could put our whole WV population in one of their towns. The switch to natural gas is about money and monopoly. The price of natural gas will go up, there will be carbon monoxide and carbon dioxide produced (not regulated), and when consumption exceeds demand, you wont heat your house with gas ( wont afford & shortage) youll still have to use electricity at a Premium rate, and AEP still gets your money (monopoly). In the past if you used a 100 watt bulb for 24 hours it cost you $.10 a day. Today it cost $.24 per day, and in a few short years, it will cost you $2.40 per day for one light bulb. If your electric bill is $300.00 per month in winter, will become $3000.00 per month during winter at $1.00 per kilowatt.
