The Western Cape SASCO declares victory in all SRC Elections in the Western Cape! “Don’t Kill my vibe, I am voting SASCO!” 01 October 2013 The South African Students’ congress has to the astonishment of the small and heavily troubled organizations once again been affirmed by vast majority of students across the Province of the Western Cape as the only mouth piece who truly represents their interests. This is part of the unstoppable SASCO tsunami that has recently swept all the overnight established student organizations such DASO at NMMU, TUT, Wits, UFS, CUT, UniZULU, NWC, etc. whose Madam organization Demonic Alliance (DA) wants to bring Colonial rule through backdoors. The Celebration of SASCO’s 22 years anniversary of committed, unbroken, militant and popular student’s struggles bears testimony that the track record of SASCO speaks for itself. The increased confidence and support that SASCO enjoys from students across all walks of life further attest that we have together with students waged protracted struggles and made unparalleled contributions to the betterment of students in particular and society in general. On the University of Cape Town (UCT) Recently, Students have owing to the progressive agenda of SASCO and its allies demonstrated with exceptional precision their esteemed version of SASCO possibility and potential to taking all seats in the near future. Once more DASO is left in the deepest periphery and indeed in a state of hostility with their trembling candidates not knowing where go or to whom they can sell the dangerously poisonous and neo-liberal little-plan. On the University of the Western Cape (UWC) An enormous majority of Students of UWC have not merely shown support and actually joined the campaign of SASCO way before SRC election started but appeared to be rather shocked from observing the tiny groupings or organizations that are sudden. There is no doubt that SASCO would accomplish 100 % victory and all our conscious students are determined to put a credit where it’s due, Students first and SASCO to the front all the way. On the Central Peninsular University of Technology (CPUT) Escalating number of students has observed the attitude of small clique in the management of CPUT and its accomplice which depicts elements that seek to undermine the unitary character of SASCO. However, throughout our engagements at various platforms students in their numbers have vowed to stand fast and help to ensure a landslide victory of SASCO at CPUT. Therefore, we are together with students determined in ensuring that the child of the peasant or working class assimilate to be an Achiever, an Employer, a Bank owner, etc regardless of how inimical and daunting the situation might seem. On The University of South Africa (UNISA Cape Town Campus) This is one campus where majority of students just demand to vote for SASCO given its outstanding track record as they are to do sooner. However, this continued overwhelming victory of SASCO that could be stretched over a decade at this part of the country is not a result of some myth making or superstitious gestures but is base as it is across South Africa on hard-work and amazing dedication of SASCO members to the service of the majority of students and society as a whole. We call upon all students to join, vote and mobilize all students for the victory of SASCO so that we can double our efforts toward heightening mass mobilization for the ending of commoditisation of education and realization of Free Quality Education for all. Let’s all come out in numbers to defend the gains of SASCO and the majority of students for the liberation of the people from all forms of oppression and the advance the struggle of the ANC in the national general in 2014 to regain the Western cape province from the Imperialist front-runners(DA).
