The Word of God protects and nurture us in the midst of the valley - TopicsExpress

The Word of God protects and nurture us in the midst of the valley of the shadow of death and uncertainty; in the midst of the endless storm that toss us left, right, and centre; in the midst of a complicated situation that threaten to shatter our self confidence and derail our match toward our goal. Let us then unwind and learn by heart that no matter how hard it is, we’re not on our own. That there is Someone up there who has won the battle for us. We just have to commit everything unto Him, stay calm, look ahead, and let His words and possibilities of the future inspire us out of our present predicament. Adjust the bearing not from where we are, but from where we’re headed to. It’s true that sometimes what we are doing or where we are might not inspire us even a little, that we are doing it or we are there not because we love it but because circumstances has forced us. Let us then seek an inspiration from that frame of mind and use it to shorten our stay in where we are or do something differently from what we are doing. Sometimes we stay down because we refuse to get up. Perhaps it’s because of the fear of unknown or past experience but in as much as it is advisable to learn from our past experience or someone else experience, it would be suicidal on our part besides doing a great injustice to ourselves if we are held ransom but such an occurrence. Thus, the worst thing we can do when faced with challenges is to focus on the challenge rather than a way out of it. If we are fixated on the problem, it will reproduce itself in our life. As we shift out attention from the problem at hand to finding a solution, we must ingrain in our mind that what we behold is what we become. Never give a situation the power to rob you of your dream; never let your circumstances control you. Challenges are a constant in life. They never choose who to visit and thus, we cannot escape facing situations that we’d rather not face, situation that tasks endurance. Sadly, many at times we permit problems to delineate us to a point of making reckless decision that we wouldn’t ordinarily make because we know it is inconsistent with our belief. We get deeply engrossed in what we are going through that we lose our vision of where we’re actually headed to. Look beyond the challenges, look beyond the problem, look beyond the difficulty and focus on the possibilities. Challenges are things we go through, not the other way. They always come to pass, they are never permanent. Success is not a destination, it’s a journey and the quality of the journey prepares us to handle success when it finally surfaces. We are constantly growing, improving, and learning from the daily experiences and challenges we run into in life. Therefore success is not a noun for a progressive mind, it is a misapprehension. We’ve got to keep the trajectory towards our goal. Keep reading, keep trying, keep listening to great people, keep telling ourselves that we are great people; delightfully and outstandingly molded by the Creator. No one can keep us down if we insist on rising up. Let us be individuals who will fill the history books with great success stories, not just outside but within our homes as well, to be shared in the generations to come. Yes, we can be a testimony of determination and focus amidst difficulties but that cannot happen unless we believe in ourselves. Have a safe week ahead and stay blessed.
