The World-Teacher! The World-Teacher came forth from the White - TopicsExpress

The World-Teacher! The World-Teacher came forth from the White Lodge, bearing the name of Tehuti, or Toth, called later by the Greeks Hermes; He founded the outer cult of the Egyptian gods and restored the Mysteries to the splendor of bygone days. The Jews referred to him as Enoch. He came to teach the great doctrine of the ‘ Inner Light ’ to the priests of the Temples, to the powerful sacerdotal hierarchy of Egypt, headed by its Pharaoh. In the inner court of the chief Temple He taught them of ‘the Light that every man cometh into the world.’ – a phrase of His that was handed down through the ages, and was echoed in the fourth Gospel in its early Egyptian colored words. He taught them that the Light was universal, and that that Light, which was God, dwelt in the heart of every man. “ I am the Light,” He bade them repeat, “ That Light am I.” “That Light,” He said “ is the true man, although men may not recognize it, although they neglect it. Osiris is Light; he came forth from the Light; He dwells in the Light; He is the one Light. The Light is hidden everywhere; it is in every rock and in every stone. When man becomes one with the Osiris Light, then he becomes one with whole of which he was part, and then can see the Light in everyone, however thickly veiled, pressed down, and shut away. All the rest is not: but the Light is. The Light is the life of men. For every man the Reality is nearer than any ceremony, for he has only to turn inwards, and then he will see the Light. That is the object of every ceremony, and ceremonies should not be done away with, for I come not to destroy but to fulfil. When a man knows, he goes beyond ceremony, he goes to Osiris, he goes to the Light, the Light of Amen-Ra, from which all came forth, to which all shall return. Osiris is in the heavens, but Osiris is also in the very heart of men. When Osiris in the heart knows Osiris in the heavens, then man becomes God, and Osiris, once rent into fragments, again becomes one. But see ! Osiris the Divine Spirit, Isis, the Eternal Mother, give life to Horus, who is man. Man born of both, but with one Osiris. Horus merged with Osiris, and Isis, who had been matter, becomes through him the Queen of Life and Wisdom. And Osiris, Isis, and Horus are all born of the Light. “ Two are the births of Horus. He is born of Isis, the God born into humanity, taking the flesh of the Mother eternal, Matter, the ever Virgin. He is born again into Osiris, redeeming his Mother from her long search for the fragments of her husband scattered over the Earth. He is born into Osiris when Osiris in the heart sees Osiris in the heavens, and knows the twain are one.” To Pharaoh, the monarch, He gave the motto: “ Look for the Light”; to the people He gave as a motto: Thou art the Light, Let that Light shine.” THE PYRAMID AND JERUSALEM. If this Pyramid is what it would thus seem to be, it would be natural to infer that it ought to have some connection with or reference to Jerusalem. All the institutes and revelations of God had their chief centre there for more than a thousand years. God made it his own sacred metropolis, the only one he ever had localized upon earth. There his only temple stood. There his holy law was deposited. Thither his people were required to come for the celebration of their most distinguishing services. There was the royal seat of his chosen kings. There was the sacred capitol of his consecrated priests, of his inspired prophets, of his holy scribes. There the glorious Messiah presented himself to the elect nation. There he died for the sins of the world. There he rose triumphant from the dead. There he ascended into heaven. There he poured out the Holy Ghost. There he inaugurated the Christian Church. There he sent forth his inspired apostles for the conquest of the world to the religion of the cross. Nay, there he is to appear again when he comes the second time as he has promised. And if the Great Pyramid belongs at all to the great system of Gods redemptive interpositions it could hardly be wanting in some reference to that city of the Lord, the Zion of the Holy One of Israel. So at least it appeared to me, and led me to search for the missing indications. I knew that the Pyramids most distinguished cubit answers to the sacred cubit of Moses; that the capacity measure of the Pyramids granite Coffer is the same as that of the Ark of the Covenant; that the sabbatic system of the Jews is distinctly noted in connection with the Queens Chamber; and that the molten sea had proportions of earth-commensuration which also appear in the size of the Pyramids main chamber. These are indeed remarkable and significant coincidences, but they do not give so direct a reference as I thought ought to exist. It hence occurred to me to ascertain the exact direction of Jerusalem from the Great Pyramid and to try whether it would fit to any of its interior angles. Having used two different maps to make sure of accuracy, the result carne out exactly the same in both, namely, that three of the main inside angles of the Great Pyramid applied to its north side eastward, point directly to Jerusalem! If a cannon-ball were shot from the Great Pyramids north side at the precise angle eastward as that of the entrance passage computed with the base-line, or that of the main ascending passage computed with the same line, or that of the Grand Gallery computed with the passage to the Queens Chamber, that ball, could it reach so far, would strike the Holy City! Of itself this might be passed as of no special significance, but taken in connection with what has been developed in this lecture, the unexpected discovery induced a feeling as if the half-smothered pile with all its burden of centuries suddenly arose out of its sands and rubbish, lifted up its stony hand, and looking the very image of old time, pointed its heavy and half pendent finger to the city of Melchisedek, David, and Solomon, saying as with a voice out of the bottom ages, Look over there! Savants of the earth, and all ye that inquire, go yonder! There observe, listen, and wait, and ye shall know whence I am, and whereof I witness! The Lord of Names O peoples of the world! Give ear unto the call of Him Who is the Lord of Names, Who proclaimeth unto you from His habitation in the Most Great Prison: Verily, no God is there but Me, the Powerful, the Mighty, the All-Subduing, the Most Exalted, the Omniscient, the All-Wise. In truth, there is no God but Him, the Omnipotent Ruler of the worlds. Were it His Will, He would, through but a single word proceeding from His presence, lay hold on all mankind. Beware lest ye hesitate in your acceptance of this Cause--a Cause before which the Concourse on high and the dwellers of the Cities of Names have bowed down. Fear God, and be not of those who are shut out as by a veil. Burn ye away the veils with the fire of My love, and dispel ye the mists of vain imaginings by the power of this Name through which We have subdued the entire creation. Raise up and exalt the two Houses in the Twin Hallowed Spots, and the other sites wherein the throne of your Lord, the All-Merciful, hath been established. Thus commandeth you the Lord of every understanding heart. Be watchful lest the concerns and preoccupations of this world prevent you from observing that which hath been enjoined upon you by Him Who is the Mighty, the Faithful. Be ye the embodiments of such steadfastness amidst mankind that ye will not be kept back from God by the doubts of those who disbelieved in Him when He manifested Himself, invested with a mighty sovereignty. Take heed lest ye be prevented by aught that hath been recorded in the Book from hearkening unto this, the Living Book, Who proclaimeth the truth: Verily, there is no God but Me, the Most Excellent, the All-Praised. Look ye with the eye of equity upon Him Who hath descended from the heaven of Divine will and power, and be not of those who act unjustly. Call then to mind these words which have streamed forth, in tribute to this Revelation, from the Pen of Him Who was My Herald, and consider what the hands of the oppressors have wrought throughout My days. Truly they are numbered with the lost. He said: Should ye attain the presence of Him Whom We shall make manifest, beseech ye God, in His bounty, to grant that He might deign to seat Himself upon your couches, for that act in itself would confer upon you matchless and surpassing honour. Should He drink a cup of water in your homes, this would be of greater consequence for you than your proffering unto every soul, nay unto every created thing, the water of its very life. Know this, O ye My servants! Such are the words with which My Forerunner hath extolled My Being, could ye but understand. Whoso reflecteth upon these verses, and realizeth what hidden pearls have been enshrined within them, will, by the righteousness of God, perceive the fragrance of the All-Merciful wafting from the direction of this Prison and will, with his whole heart, hasten unto Him with such ardent longing that the hosts of earth and heaven would be powerless to deter him. Say: This is a Revelation around which every proof and testimony doth circle. Thus hath it been sent down by your Lord, the God of Mercy, if ye be of them that judge aright. Say: This is the very soul of all Scriptures which hath been breathed into the Pen of the Most High, causing all created beings to be dumbfounded, save only those who have been enraptured by the gentle breezes of My loving-kindness and the sweet savours of My bounties which have pervaded the whole of creation For in all things, O Lord, thou didst magnify thy people, and glorify them, neither didst thou lightly regard them: but didst assist them in every time and place 13 God did aforetime Take a Covenant from The Children of Israel, And We appointed twelve Captains among them. And God said: I am With you: if ye (but) Establish regular Prayers, Practise regular Charity, Believe in My apostles, Honour and assist them, And loan to God A beautiful loan, Verily I will wipe out From you your evils, And admit you to Gardens With rivers flowing beneath; But if any of you, after this, Resisteth faith, he hath truly Wandered from the path Of rectitude. 14 But because of their breach Of their Covenant, We Cursed them, and made Their hearts grow hard: They change the words From their (right) places And forget a good part Of the Message that was Sent them, nor wilt thou Cease to find them Barring a few—ever Bent on (new) deceits: But forgive them, and overlook (Their misdeeds): for God Loveth those who are kind. 15 From those, too, who call Themselves Christians, We did take a Covenant, But they forgot a good part Of the Message that was Sent them: so We estranged Them, with enmity and hatred Between the one and the other, To the Day of Judgment. And soon will God show Them what it is They have done. 16 O People of the Book! There hath come to you Our Apostle, revealing To you much that ye Used to hide in the Book, And passing over much (That is now unnecessary): 17 There hath come to you From God a (new) light And a perspicuous Book,— 18 Wherewith God guideth all Who seek His good pleasure To ways of peace and safety, And leadeth them out Of darkness, by His Will, Unto the light,—guideth them To a Path that is Straight. 19 In blasphemy indeed Are those that say That God is Christ The son of Mary. Say: Who then Hath the least power Against God, if His Will Were to destroy Christ The son of Mary, his mother, And all—every one That is on the earth? For to God belongeth The dominion of the heavens And the earth, and all That is between. He createth What He pleaseth. For God Hath power over all things. 20 (Both) the Jews and the Christians Say: We are sons Of God, and His beloved. Say: Why then doth He Punish you for your sins? Nay, ye are but men, Of the men He hath created: He forgiveth whom He pleaseth, And He punisheth whom He pleaseth: And to God belongeth The dominion of the heavens And the earth, and all That is between: And unto Him Is the final goal (of all) THE SUN Like a bridegroom the sun Dons his robe that is spun Of light, Which from Thee emanated Yet in no wise abated Thy light. Taught to go westward round With obeisance profound To his Lord, He by service so loyal To a master so royal Is a lord. While his homage each day Serves to mark and display Thy glory, ’Tis Thy hand that investeth The robe on which resteth His glory O GOD, MY SUN O God, my Sun, up now and rise, I pray thee, And be as the moon to illumine my darkness: Wherefore wilt Thou play the passing wayfarer And vanish like the fleeing gazelle? When shall the bud come to blossom, And the tender grape yield its sweet savour? How long wilt Thou cast off the remnants of Joseph? I was as a lamb led to the slaughter, One man drawing me from the fold and another performing the sacrifice. The lion rose murderous against me, And the wild ass breaketh my bones. The wild boar tore me, breathing fury, Pushing westwards and northwards. Dread God, who hast stretched out the heavens, Who closest and none can open, Now at last reprove kings for my sake— For far be it from Thee to be forgetful!— Thou shalt bring forth my prisoners from the pit: For the sake of our hero-ancestor’s righteousness, And shalt cleave the crown of the woman of Uz And shave off the hair of Esau. Take the young brood and prosper them, But do not let go the mother. O restore the maiden in her beautiful freshness, And fill with moisture all that is withered. Renew the Temple and the altar And establish singing men for Thy praise; One to glow with a song of loves, And one to make melody for the chief musician. Thus wilt Thou cause the horn of the Messiah to shoot up, And I shall be wholly joyful. Judgement of the Wicked. CHAPTER XXXVIII 1. The First Parable. When the congregation of the righteous shall appear, And sinners shall be judged for their sins, And shall be driven from the face of the earth: 2. And when the Righteous One shall appear before the eyes of the righteous, Whose elect works hang upon the Lord of Spirits, And light shall appear to the righteous and the elect who dwell on the earth, Where then will be the dwelling of the sinners, And where the resting-place of those who have denied the Lord of Spirits? It had been good for them if they had not been born. 3. When the secrets of the righteous shall be revealed and the sinners judged, And the godless driven from the presence of the righteous and elect, 4. From that time those that possess the earth shall no longer be powerful and exalted: And they shall not be able to behold the face of the holy, For the Lord of Spirits has caused His light to appear On the face of the holy, righteous, and elect. 5. Then shall the kings and the mighty perish And be given into the hands of the righteous and holy. 6. And thenceforward none shall seek for themselves mercy from the Lord of Spirits For their life is at an end. LVIII-LXXI. The Third Parable. LVIII. The Blessedness of the Saints. CHAPTER LVIII. 1. And I began to speak the third Parable concerning the righteous and elect. 2. Blessed are ye, ye righteous and elect, For glorious shall be your lot. 3. And the righteous shall be in the light of the sun. And the elect in the light of eternal life: The days of their life shall be unending, And the days of the holy without number. 4. And they shall seek the light and find righteousness with the Lord of Spirits: There shall be peace to the righteous in the name of the Eternal Lord. 5. And after this it shall be said to the holy in heaven That they should seek out the secrets of righteousness, the heritage of faith: For it has become bright as the sun upon earth, And the darkness is past. 6. And there shall be a light that never endeth, And to a limit (lit. number) of days they shall not come, For the darkness shall first have been destroyed, [And the light established before the Lord of Spirits] And the light of uprightness established for ever before the Lord of Spirits. 1When the end comes, the kingdom of heaven will be like ten bridesmaids. They took their oil lamps and went to meet the groom. 2Five of them were foolish, and five were wise. 3The foolish bridesmaids took their lamps, but they didnt take any extra oil. 4The wise bridesmaids, however, took along extra oil for their lamps. 5Since the groom was late, all the bridesmaids became drowsy and fell asleep. 6At midnight someone shouted, The groom is here! Come to meet him! 7Then all the bridesmaids woke up and got their lamps ready. 8The foolish ones said to the wise ones, Give us some of your oil. Our lamps are going out. 9But the wise bridesmaids replied, We cant do that. There wont be enough for both of us. Go! Find someone to sell you some oil. 10While they were buying oil, the groom arrived. The bridesmaids who were ready went with him into the wedding hall, and the door was shut. 11Later the other bridesmaids arrived and said, Sir, sir, open the door for us! 12But he answered them, I dont even know who you are! 13So stay awake, because you dont know the day or the hour. 14The kingdom of heaven is like a man going on a trip. He called his servants and entrusted some money to them. 15He gave one man ten thousand dollars, another four thousand dollars, and another two thousand dollars. Each was given money based on his ability. Then the man went on his trip. 16The one who received ten thousand dollars invested the money at once and doubled his money. 17The one who had four thousand dollars did the same and also doubled his money. 18But the one who received two thousand dollars went off, dug a hole in the ground, and hid his masters money. 19After a long time the master of those servants returned and settled accounts with them. 20The one who received ten thousand dollars brought the additional ten thousand. He said, Sir, you gave me ten thousand dollars. Ive doubled the amount. 21His master replied, Good job! Youre a good and faithful servant! You proved that you could be trusted with a small amount. I will put you in charge of a large amount. Come and share your masters happiness. 22The one who received four thousand dollars came and said, Sir, you gave me four thousand dollars. Ive doubled the amount. 23His master replied, Good job! Youre a good and faithful servant! You proved that you could be trusted with a small amount. I will put you in charge of a large amount. Come and share your masters happiness. 24Then the one who received two thousand dollars came and said, Sir, I knew that you are a hard person to please. You harvest where you havent planted and gather where you havent scattered any seeds. 25I was afraid. So I hid your two thousand dollars in the ground. Heres your money! 26His master responded, You evil and lazy servant! If you knew that I harvest where I havent planted and gather where I havent scattered, 27then you should have invested my money with the bankers. When I returned, I would have received my money back with interest. 28Take the two thousand dollars away from him! Give it to the one who has the ten thousand! 29To all who have, more will be given, and they will have more than enough. But everything will be taken away from those who dont have much. 30Throw this useless servant outside into the darkness. People will cry and be in extreme pain there. 31When the Son of Man comes in his glory and all his angels are with him, he will sit on his glorious throne. 32The people of every nation will be gathered in front of him. He will separate them as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. 33He will put the sheep on his right but the goats on his left. 34Then the king will say to those on his right, Come, my Father has blessed you! Inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the creation of the world. 35I was hungry, and you gave me something to eat. I was thirsty, and you gave me something to drink. I was a stranger, and you took me into your home. 36I needed clothes, and you gave me something to wear. I was sick, and you took care of me. I was in prison, and you visited me. 37Then the people who have Gods approval will reply to him, Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you or see you thirsty and give you something to drink? 38When did we see you as a stranger and take you into our homes or see you in need of clothes and give you something to wear? 39When did we see you sick or in prison and visit you? 40The king will answer them, I can guarantee this truth: Whatever you did for one of my brothers or sisters, no matter how unimportant [they seemed], you did for me. 41Then the king will say to those on his left, Get away from me! God has cursed you! Go into everlasting fire that was prepared for the devil and his angels! 42I was hungry, and you gave me nothing to eat. I was thirsty, and you gave me nothing to drink. 43I was a stranger, and you didnt take me into your homes. I needed clothes, and you didnt give me anything to wear. I was sick and in prison, and you didnt take care of me. 44They, too, will ask, Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty or as a stranger or in need of clothes or sick or in prison and didnt help you? 45He will answer them, I can guarantee this truth: Whatever you failed to do for one of my brothers or sisters, no matter how unimportant [they seemed], you failed to do for me. 46These people will go away into eternal punishment, but those with Gods approval will go into eternal life. Gold may be traced to the Suns rays. The word gold means solar essence. The transmutation of gold does not mean the process of making gold, but does mean the process of changing gold, solar rays, into all manner of materialized forms.... Great is the reward of good works with God. Joined together in harmony, let us implore that reward from Him. The good servant 139 receives the bread of his labour with confidence; the lazy and slothful cannot look his employer in the face. It is requisite, therefore, that we be prompt in the practice of well-doing; for of Him are all things. And thus He forewarns us: “Behold, the Lord [cometh], and His reward is before His face, to render to every man according to his work.” 140 He exhorts us, therefore, with our whole heart to attend to this, 141 that we be not lazy or slothful in any good work. Let our boasting and our confidence be in Him. Let us submit ourselves to His will. Let us consider the whole multitude of His angels, how they stand ever ready to minister to His will. For the Scripture saith, “Ten thousand times ten thousand stood around Him, and thousands of thousands ministered unto Him, 142 and cried, Holy, holy, holy, [is] the Lord of Sabaoth; the whole creation is full of His glory.” 143 And let us therefore, conscientiously gathering together in harmony, cry to Him earnestly, as with one mouth, that we may be made partakers of His great and glorious promises. For [the Scripture] saith, “Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which He hath prepared for them that wait for Him.” 144 Footnotes 14:139 Or, “labourer.” 14:140 Isa. xl. 10, Isa. lxii. 11; Rev. xxii. 12. 14:141 The text here seems to be corrupt. Some translate, “He warns us with all His heart to this end, that,” etc. 14:142 Dan. vii. 10. 14:143 Isa. vi. 3. 14:144 1 Cor. ii. 9. Infinite Love! Light and Love! Christ Light, Sunlight in Love!
