Many of the top Songs on the charts lately are from outside the U.S. including Canadian Band Magic!s Rude, Iggy Azaleas Fancy and Sias Chandelier both from Australia, Britains SAM SMITH who is having worldwide success with Stay With Me and Disclosures Latch, featuring Smith, Norwegian Duo Nico & Vinzs Am I Wrong and Scottish EDM Superstar Calvin Harris Summer. Australian Band 5 Seconds of Summer debuted their first Album at No. 1 in America selling 259,000 copies the first week. British Pop Idols One Direction had the Best-selling Album of the past year. Australias Gotye stayed on top of the charts longer than any other Artist in 2012, Adele in 2011 and New Zealander Lorde and Avicii from Sweden had two of the top selling singles in 2013. Robin Thicke who is half Canadian had the biggest selling single of 2013. Canada also scored with Drake the same year and Carly Rae Jepsens Call Me Maybe was the biggest selling single of 2012. This summer the biggest new hits belong to international Artists also because Chart Toppers like Rihanna and Bruno Mars are in between Albums.
