The Zambia national team will today have their final practice session ahead of the Sudan game on Saturday in the afternoon at 16:00hrs. Chipolopolo coach Herve Renard has stated that the training session will be behind closed doors and will only be open for the first 15 minutes. Meanwhile, the Sudan national team will today have a feel a feel of the Levy Mwanawasa turf at 15:00hrs. FAZ communications officer Eric Mwanza has said the Sudan national team coach Mazda has not informed the association whether the training session for the Sudanese will be open or closed. And burly striker Collins Mbesuma says his presence has to be felt by the Sudanese as he will be upfront to do what he knows best – scoring. “Surely I have to do my best, do what I can on the pitch so that they feel me,” said Mbesuma, who scored one of the goals in Zambia’s 4-0 win over Lesotho last Saturday. Mbesuma was also delighted that fellow strikers – Jacob Mulenga, James Chamanga, Emmanuel Mayuka and Bornwell Mwape were in excellent scoring form in camp. “Every striker in the team is in top form…it is good and it is good for competition. I think we have quality strikers,” he said. “We have to forget about the Lesotho game and focus on the next game. I think they are different teams and Sudan are stronger than Lesotho. We need to focus, prepare well and work hard,” he said. Zambia head Group D on 10 points, one more than Ghana, who play Lesotho in Maseru on Sunday. Lesotho and Sudan have two and one points, respectively.
