The ability to support another soloist when playing a jazz standard is one of the qualities that we jazz impresarios use to separate the men from the boys . Double bass solos are particularly difficult to support and it takes a special pianist to do the job effectively. Keith jarret is a master of that art but this kid is not bad either!
