The aborted impeachment trial of then Pres. Erap Estrada before the Senate, despite his control of the majority of the senators-judges, paved the way for EDSA Dos, which provided an exit door for Erap in Malacang. The failed impeachment complaints against then Pres. Gloria Arroyo courtesy of her then allies in the House of Representatives, earned her 9 years in power. The bid to impeach Pinoy on this partly unconstitutional DAP and the EDCA between the Philippines and USA, was butchered by Pinoys Liberal Party allies in the House of Representatives, voting 54-4, ruling that the three (3) impeachment complaints while having forms, were, however, insufficient in substance. The murder of the three (3) impeachment complaints against Pinoy gives the temporary tenant in Malacanang a big sigh of relief, justice kuno according to his mouthpiece Coloma, which will open the gate for the amendment of the 1987 Constitution to extend Pinoys term and to clip the powers on judicial power of the Supreme Court. That is the prize of impeachment when a sitting President holds in the palms of his/her hands our Honorable Congress: either one is out or one is in, reelected or a term to be extended.
