The argument against a Minarchist state lies in the issues of the failure in the Articles of Confederation, and how the Constitution that followed has grown into the modern day Leviathan. However, likewise, an Anarcho-capitalist state would eventually develop into a minarchy, with the businesses who provide security/energy becoming their own government, at the cost of natural resources. Only thing I can think of to resolve this is to create something with no ambition of its own to tear down those who gain too much power over other individuals on this planet.
