The article is great and it raises a lot of questions at the same time that are parallel to the point but not integral, like why is this the second picture of a huntress to go viral yet were all far more than certain that male hunters do the exact same thing in greater numbers and arent looked upon with just as much vitriol? But that isnt my point in posting this diatribe and sharing this article, no. My point is that men and women are catching great creatures from the oceans and lakes, posting their own pictures with their enormous, legendary kills, but we think nothing of it. Why? Because fish and sea creatures and beneath a curtain. We dont get to see freely how majestic and Earthly they are like a giraffe or a Lion. Our appreciation for what is in our Oceans is stunted by their lack of visibility. We do have a slight concern when the Japanese massacre dolphins or harpoon some whales, but there are mythical looking marine creatures that we should respect and behold just as wholeheartedly.
