Common core is a FEDERAL SYSTEM that is suppose to make ALL children K-12 be college ready, and to achieve that, the schools had to dumb down the curriculum for students to pass. Throughout this video, you will hear both sides. Its the best debate of common core out there. At 4:48 Jim Stergios PH.D. shows how the Massachusetts school system adopted the curriculum for the schools. At 5:50 you will see Jebb Bush and Bill Gates push for common core as Bush is claiming that the governors in some state have no clue on how to handle education in their state. (Not in those exact words but thats the message he sending. So what does this video show, The people lost interest in the state governments and do not know how to elect governors. Maybe this video will show the importance of a governor any why its important to stop electing morons or celebrities. This is why Local government is more important to follow then the national level. If Im elected president, local government will be more important in your lives. I will do away with the Dept. of Education. In the 50s our school system was able to have students use slide rulers and put man on the moon. Today with all the technology our students are the best video game players.
