The biggest shock of the day ! During our meeting with the Assistant District Attorney of Clark County Nevada, who claims to have been a former INVESTIGATOR, we were told that this happens all the time and not only that, but that it is at the discretion of the doctors as to whether to pull the plug and that the fact that we should be glad we were asked as it was a courtesy that the doctors afforded us.....GUESS WHAT....THE FORMER INVESTIGATOR, whose reports I would assume, impact whether charges are filed by the DISTRICT ATTORNEYS OFFICE......DOESNT KNOW THE LAW!!!!!!!!!!! After speaking with the Nevada State Board of Medical Examiners it was made clear as to what the law is. That is the reason advanced directives EXIST!!!!!!! He also laughed it off when we suggested contacting Darcy Spears and said go ahead. GUESS WHAT...ASSISTANT D.A., WE WILL DEFINITELY BE DOING THAT...BUT NOT ABOUT MY MOMS DOCTORS!!!!!! If you have ever had a friend or relative die in a Clark County hospital, who knows if the medical staff just assumed that it was ok to pull the plug because we have a D.A.s office that DOESNT KNOW THE LAW. Wonder how many other crimes have not been handled properly due to IGNORANCE OF THE LAW ON BEHALF OF THE DISTRICT ATTORNEY AND HIS INVESTIGATIVE TEAM. IGNORANCE OF THE LAW IS NO EXCUSE...SO THEY SAY!!!!
