The bowling community has lost a wonderful ambassador, especially the womans Delaware bowling community. John Racine was a regular fixture at Brookside and then Pleasant Hill Lanes. He was a supporter, cheerleader, and dear friend to many people. He was often there on Pleasant Hill Monday nights sitting behind the lanes, watching all of us, observing, and encouraging us especially on those bad nights. A gentle soul he was, very kind and incredibly giving. Whatever you needed John was there, no questions asked. Whether it was a few extra bucks, sponsor in a tournament or league, or just a lending ear he was there for you. Father to many, friend to all. Rest in peace old soul....youll be watching us now on the lanes from up above. We are all blessed for having known you and youll be missed dearly.
