The brave individual in this clip is Mr. Lloyd Clayton, Executive Director of The Mayme L. Clayton Library & Museum, Culver City, CA. Just like Joyce, her brother Eddie and all of the survivors we have interviewed; it took a great amount of courage for him to go so deep into his past and state it on our cameras. It also took trust that we would do everything in our power to complete this project that finally lets them tell their stories. Our entire crew cried with him during this shoot. Were now asking that you please not allow their efforts go in vain. Make a pledge, show the survivors of the 1965 Watts riots and rest of the world that their sacrifices are appreciated. Any amount moves this film closer to its goal. Thanks everyone.
