The club has recently launched the Christmas round of its scheme run through and in conjunction with the local paper, The Malvern Gazette and Ledbury Reporter. The scheme sees £1,000 given away to local groups and organisations in grants of up to £250. Applications for money from the scheme must be made in writing to: Malvern Hills Lions Club Grant Scheme, Roni Skye, Malvern Gazette and Ledbury Reporter, Hylton Road, Worcester, WR2 5JX. Applications must include the full name of the organisation, a contact name and telephone number, how much is being applied for and how it will be spent. These details must be at the Malvern Gazette office by noon on Friday 6th December. Successful applicants will be announced as soon as possible after the closing date.
