The color of the lenses you look through determine the perspective - TopicsExpress

The color of the lenses you look through determine the perspective of what you think you are seeing. The clearer your lens, the clearer your perspective. So dont overly concern yourself with your ability to see, because you probably see just fine; and neither wreck your brain on outcomes because you have less to do with them than you think. But instead, put energy, a lot of energy, into vetting who and what shapes what you are seeing. Get unnecessary people and ideas out of your brain! See the world for yourself, as it its- not as your pastor sees it, as your president sees it, as your friends see it, as a particular news outlet sees it, etc, because how you have to interpret information may be very different than how they have chosen to interpret it. You are less vulnerable to being controlled simply by what you see or by what has happened - you ARE however extremely vulnerable to being controlled when someone can be a filter between the two: what you are seeing and what meaning you should attach to it. So today, I pray for all of your counselors, mentors, friends, and influencers. I pray that youd pick the most neutral of them to listen to. Impartiality from these people will help you hear God more clearly, participate in your process, and ultimately properly align the events of your life into a healthy space. Now of course Im not saying dont have influencers, Im just saying demand that those that influence you, influence you toward balance and not toward their conviction- they are there to help develop you, not to indoctrinate you; to clear your lens, not color it. #freeyourmindANDthevoiceofGodwillfollow Wake Up Ur Dream
