The daily rant from Mychal Massie: I heard several things this past weekend that were beyond ridiculous. Several, in no particular order, were that the ACLU had determined that Jesus Christ was not a historical figure. They, of course, were able to find a court that agreed with them; the end result being that Jackson City School District in Ohio was forced to remove a portrait of Jesus from its wall and ordered to pay a $95,000 fine. Thatll teach those dimwit Christians to mess with freedom from religion. (Sarcasm intended)Debbie Wasserman Frau Schultz blamed the problems in Washington and the subsequent budget battles on men. She boldly (if not foolishly) claimed, If we put all the women, Republican and Democrat, in the House together they would be able to solve the problem in a few hours. What can I say, but that silly people say silly things and Frau Schultz leaps to the head of the silly class. Not to be outdone, Obama claimed that if the government isnt allowed to borrow more money, it would amount to a new tax. Im not even going to attempt the depth of illogic in Obamas statement. It simply gets filed in the same receptacle that all of the other lies and foolish things that have come out his mouth are warehoused in. But I did hear one thing this weekend that isnt getting a lot of attention or press coverage, not that I find that surprising. The prominent Doctor Ben Carson warned that socialized medicine was the keystone to the establishment of a socialist state. Specifically, Dr. Carson said: Whats interesting is, you know, Vladimir Lenin, one of the founders of socialism and communism. He said socialized medicine is the keystone of the arch to the socialist state. In other words, youve got to get the socialized medicine as the foundation because it gives you control of the people. Now, I ask you the following. There is historical and empirical evidence that Obama and his Bolsheviks are neo-Leninists to their core, but what does it say of John Boehner, Jeff Sessions, Eric Cantor, Karl Rove, John McCain, and the rest of the Republican establishment who are secretly working behind the scenes to ensure the full implementation and full funding of Obamacare? As you think about that, let me interject that there can only be one plausible answer. The deck of the ship steaming us toward the demise of America as we have been raised to know it has the chairs arranged with their backs to the cliff we about to go over. We must seize control of this ship called government and begin to turn it around before it is too late. Mychal Massie
