The dreary process of renewing my Indian employment visa—about as much fun as a poke in the eye with a hot stick—just took a familiar turn: After spending 30 minutes partially completing the online application form, like a fool I took this advisory at face value: Partial information will be saved, if you click Temporary Save and Exit button. You can continue entering the remaining information later using the Application ID. Sure enough, all the information I had input vanished without trace the moment I clicked the Temporary Save and Exit button, and no application ID number popped up. Back to square one. #IncorrigibleIndia
