The early registration deadline (January 23, 2015) is quickly approaching for the annual Illinois Council for Children with Behavioral Disorders Drive In Conference on Feb. 6-7, 2015, at the Hyatt Lisle Hotel. Professional Development Hours will be provided and a great program is planned. Sessions begin at 4:45 P.M. on Friday, February 6, and end at 4 P.M. on Saturday, February 7. Registration for CEC Members (including coffee and donuts plus Lunch on Saturday) is $80 thru Jan. 23, $120 for non-Members, and $40 for full-time students. Programs about teaching students self control, everything you ever wanted to know about working with students with E/BD, legal developments in discipline and bullying, childhood depression and suicide,students with anxiety disorders, social skills, a transition tool kit, a whole array of math sessions, note taking skills, teaching reading to students with emotional/behavioral disorders, theres an app for that, culturally attuned functional behavioral assessments, abuse and neglect of children with disabilities, and more. In addition great Exhibits and Friday night poster sessions are planned.
