The face of the earth changed dramatically at the end of the Ice - TopicsExpress

The face of the earth changed dramatically at the end of the Ice Age between 21,000 and 9,000 years ago. In these changes, I believe, a great global civilisation -- now the stuff of myth and legend -- was utterly obliterated. The area now occupied by Indonesia and Australia is of the greatest interest in this story. To see what happened, and how much land was lost, check out this useful little visual from Monash University: sahultime.monash.edu.au/explore.html. Its based on accurate scientific data and you can slide the scale back and forward across the years of the Ice Age meltdown and see the effect of sea-level rise. For further info on the implications of all this, take a look (if you havent seen it already) at my recent article on the mysterious megalithic site of Gunung Padang in Indonesia: grahamhancock/forum/HancockG9-Mystery-Lost-Civilization.php ~ via Graham Hancock
