The federal government, and in particular FEMA, CAN KISS MY ASS. I am beyond angry and frustrated today. Weve been told that no residents are allowed back to their homes on Thursday and possibly Friday. With the rain, everything salvageable remaining in peoples homes will be a total loss. On top of that, FEMA would not allow contractors in today to secure and tarp peoples homes. This is absolute BS. FEMA claims that they need to clean roads of debris, but they are already clear curb to curb. Insurance adjusters are also being denied entrance. Something is just not right... The Washington PD is tellingly that its out of their control and FEMA is calling all the shots - and making it as hard as possible on everyone.
