The federal govt has announced d Modalities for the proposed NATIONAL CONFERENCE where d ethnic nationalities that make up Nigeria would meet to form a common front on how to respectfully live in a mutually beneficial country! It however beats my imagination as to why the govt divided nigeria into a country of two religions when the constitution clearly stated otherwise!.....why should only christian & muslim religion be invited as participant?.....this simply means that d resolution of this conference wont be bounding on other millions of nigerians that are neither muslims nor christians!.....& if i may ask...what happens to d multitude of pagans that dont give a damn abt any religion in nigeria? its either done rightly or not done at ..with all sense of patrotism & responsibility,i make bold to say that d secretary to d govt of d federation is a dull dunce for daring to announce such junky crap to Nigerians! My 2nd grudge with d so called modalities is the fact dat it clearly stated that decisions at the national conference shall be arrived at by CONSENSUS or 75% vote where consensus couldnt be reached!.....but again i ask....why on earth would such a high percentage of 75% vote be used where consensus has failed?.....how many of those in govt won their elections by 75%?......NONE!, why cant we use simply majority as the carrier of votes? .....i smell a rat that the FG has already written the outcome of a govt conference that is yet to take place!,..dis forced marriage ochestrated by d british is no longer working....on regional govt or total breakup i stand! ....Oyetakin Rimson is a public commentator & strategist.
