The fictional character of Santa Claus evolved from the real man - TopicsExpress

The fictional character of Santa Claus evolved from the real man ‘Saint Nicholas of Myra’ who lived in the third and fourth century A.D. He is the patron saint of children, sailors, merchants, repentant thieves, and pawnbrokers. He was known for his benevolent gift giving, mostly to children. My favorite quote of his is, “I have come to give gifts to the children and to punch the heathens, and I just ran out of gifts”. So, you see, even Santa Claus was a believer and servant of Jesus Christ. Jesus is the reason for everything. Merry CHRISTmas everyone!!!
