The final numbers are in, and its great to announce that Saturdays Mr. Dooleys Olde Irish Christmas raised a whopping $4,364 for Lucys Love Bus!! A huge thank you to Bostons Irish Community who have helped raise over $45,000 for the Love Bus over the past few years. Today we allocated funds from the event to the following children: Nyla, age 7, has been coping with Leukemia and will be able to continue her piano lessons thanks to our supporters. Aiden, age 12, also has Leukemia and will be using his funding for guitar lessons. Our friend Sarah, age 11, will be able to build her core strength and confidence through therapeutic horseback riding during her long fight against Leukemia. And last, but certainly not least, our sweet and sassy girl Ava, age 4, will be able to continue receiving acupuncture and Chinese medicine to help her in her fight against a rare brain tumor called DIPG. Your donations make a huge difference to our Love Bus children as they face the terrible side effects of cancer treatment.
