Languages Required: · English written and oral. Minimum Requirement: · Strong background production engineering including completion and testing of HPHT gas wells. · Knowledge of completion equipment and ability to apply new technology. · Computer proficiency. · Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. · Team player capable of working in a multi-discipline, multi-cultural team environment with a desire to mentor and develop less experienced staff. · Willing to work in a rotational environment. Job Scope: The Production Engineerwill provide Production Engineering support for primary and secondary recovery operations, well monitoring and optimization, injection surveillance, well completion designs including material/equipment selection, workover programs, testing and sampling programs. The position is also responsible for providing technical support to the field to ensure materials availability. The Production Engineer responsibilities include but not limited to: · Well completion design including HPHT wells. · Workover programs including stimulation and other performance improvement opportunities. · Well intervention programs including cased-hole logging, coiled tubing and slickline deployment. · Production testing and sampling programs. · Sharing responsibility with the field for materials procurement and service contracts technical support. · Artificial lift selection, monitoring and optimization, including ESP, PCP and gas lift. · Responsible for all the data within the completion schematic. · Well integrity monitoring and suggest proper prevention methodology. · Work closely with geoscientists, reservoir engineers and Operations to optimize field performance. · Provide mentoring support to develop young national production engineers within the existing Subsurface team. Experience: · Minimum of 5 years of experience in Production Engineering in oil and gas industry (field experience preferred).
