The following verse is the one I talked about in a previous post, - TopicsExpress

The following verse is the one I talked about in a previous post, which had to re-lookup. So without much ado and tough the whole of Psalm 121 is good, here it goes: The LORD shall preserve you from all evil; He shall preserve your soul. The LORD shall preserve your going out and your coming in From this time forth, and even forevermore. (Psalm 121:7-8 NKJ) I suspected that the word preserve was along the lines of protect. After double checking in my Websters dictionary, my suspicion was correct. Preserve is basically to keep from spoiling, protect from harm, to carry on; maintain. Fun fact: in the same passage verse 3 in the King James uses the word suffer, but it is the context of allow/permit, or in the case of Psalm 121:3 will not allow. He will not suffer thy [your] foot to be moved He that keepth [keep] thee [you] will not slumber.
