The gifts from you all. Thank you. My truck was packed to the brim and inside as well.😎 You can see how well it went. Truly warms the heart. Im going to do this one more time next Sunday. So I made a call and got a very good friend of mine to lend me his 4x8 enclosed trailer....I say we fill it up! I will apologize now for not remembering the names of the people who dropped off today. But I can tell you a couple stories 1 .for the lady who gave me the fur lined coats that she thought kids could wear...well the was a petite gal there who grabbed it , put it on, crossed her arms and held it tight! Her face...its hard to describe. ..it was a face like ...you couldnt have possibly done anything better than to put this on her today...made her day. 2. The lady who I picked up the clothes at her house...there was 2 men there almost fighting over them because 1 wanted a suit for church , and the other wanted 1 to go job hunting. Luckily you gave me more than 1. 3. The lady who gave me the granola bars...I was passing them out like candy on Halloween. 4. While I was passing out the clothes a homeless lady came to me with a purse and said someone had left it on the curb...she gave it to me and we gave it to one of the volunteers. HONESTY...we all have it There were quite a few other big guys...so we did good. As for the things they need.. I was asked for: BLANKETS..BLANKETS BLANKETS! Shoes Hats, scarfs, gloves Garbage bags...to put there belongings in More food...like the granola bars or maybe bags of chips..or crackers. They can only accept things between 2 and 4...lucky for them I drive fast.lol. So next Sunday I want to meet whomever at Safeway again between 2 and 2:30. That way Ill get there in plenty of time. If you cant make that ..Pm me and Ill come to you during the week. I could go on for hours...but I know ..nobody likes to read long posts...so People of Fountain Hills. ..can we do this 1 more time?
