The government-backed medical helpline Healthdirect has attracted renewed criticism following findings into the death of a six-month-old girl in Perth in 2010. A coroner found Allegra Scafidass mother was given incorrect advice from the phone service, which caused a delay in getting the baby to hospital. The Australian Medical Association says the service is not cost-effective and the money could be better spent elsewhere. Do you agree?
