The harder I push ahead on Visual FreePro, the more things in my life creep up around me to steal away my time, focus, energy. It is like Im fighting an intelligence when developing this software. Round trip, I have a two to three hour commute four days a week. I leave in the morning at 6:30am, and I typically do not get home until 5:15pm. Following my drive I am usually stressed for about an hour after I get home, unable to be at peace, or have a truly calm heart, due to the drivers through what is essentially rush hour traffic in and around downtown Indianapolis. A snow removal man came by and asked if he could push our driveway for $10. I thought, that will save me the time of doing it, so we agreed. He did so, and we paid him $20. He pushed all of the snow in front of our mailbox across the street. I wasnt home at the time, and my wife did not know to check this. A few days later I received a note from the postman telling me that the path I had shoveled from the street to the mailbox was insufficient, and I needed to clear it all the way out so he could drive up to our mailbox without stepping outside of the vehicle. So, I basically wound up shoveling all of the snow from my entire driveway by hand, which took some time, was very difficult, and knocked me down somewhat for a couple of days, and probably more than that. I also needed a tree cut down in my front yard from where the workers from a sewer system they put in our neighborhood a year or so back caused damage to the roots, and killed the tree. The tree partially hung over our neighbors driveway, so I was concerned about it dropping limbs onto his driveway. Ive now hired two tree removal companies to come and complete the job, and both of them have not completed the work, just doing part of it, and then not coming back, meaning I must complete it. And there are issues related to my health. I have had difficulties in the past week or so, and Ive been really exhausted. I took a four-hour nap on Saturday, another on Sunday, and my sleep schedule is not normal, the result of several spiritual battles where people who are not saved are posting hateful, harmful things against my work on this project, not knowing why they are doing it, or that there is a spiritual weapon being wielded toward me because of it, one which causes a battle to ensure, one which I continue to have victory over through prayer and fasting, but one which also takes a lot of time to fight. The exact same thing happened to me back in the late 90s, early 2000s, when I was working on my operating system, called Exodus (https://github/RickCHodgin/libsf-full), but back then I was not saved and I was completely overcome by the forces to the point where I had to give up and abandon my project. With Visual FreePro, it just keeps making things go more and more slowly. The harder I pushed ahead, the more I am attacked from outside influences. And, as it was back then, where I divert my attention from working on the main project to something else, things tend to go very smoothly. Its like there is a real force at work that does not want me to complete this project. I need brothers and sisters to come together and pray for me daily that I will complete this project. It is an alternative to Java and .NET, one which is not focused on money, but is focused upon the Golden Rule of doing unto your neighbors as you would have them do unto you.
