The hardest part about starting and sticking to a workout plan is simply showing up. Its easy to find 50 different things you could be doing instead. A few things that help me are: 1) Have a why. Why are you wanting to lose weight and get fit? For you? Your family? Have strong, detailed why and write it down. 2) schedule it, then show up every time. 3) have an accountability partner. Whether its on here, a quick, Im going to do such and such workout at this time. Or If you go to a gym, have a friend/spouse/partner go with you. Post on your fb wall. Just something to put your goal out there for others to see. 4) make it fun. If you despise running and want to cry each time, do something else. There are SO many fun workout programs/classes. Like to dance, try a hip hop class, barre class or a cardio kickboxing. Theres something out there you will love and it wont be such a dreaded task. 5) variety. Mix it up. Get out of your comfort zone a little, you may just find something awesome!
